PRISM +41 - Basel Pavilion Of Culture

Swiss culture gains a lot from multiculturalism. Rich cultural tradition of this nation was reflected by each and every branch of art. Nowadays, it is an ageless compilation of history, human artistry, craft tradition and aesthetic qualities. Immersing into such a multidimensional ocean of values is not an easy task, neither it is to grasp its essence and focus it solely on personal interests. Swiss Prism is an architectural method of depicting the abovementioned process. Swiss Prism, accordingly to its name, is supposed to decompose the main stream of tourism into single senses, fields of culture, places and sensations. To avoid experiencing Switzerland stereotypically, Basel Pavilion of Culture is supposed to present and then guide visitors to the route that guarantees optimal exploration of the city. This process has to occur in the Swiss Prism, a place that one simply cannot walk past indifferently. A place where history meets the future. PRISM
