Barboursville - historical building model
Barboursville is a mansion designed by Thomas Jefferson for James Barbour. Erected in 1822 and destroyed by the fire in 1884. Very similar to Monticello, is one of the symbols of jeffersonian architecture in the United States. This model is our interpretation of the original design and based on Jeffeson's drawings. Though the octogonal dome was never constructed, we modelled it to show the original idea of the architect.
